JEE Main 2020 Preparation Tips & Syllabus

202 Jee Main

In exams like JEE Main 2020 to score high marks, you must prepare in a smarter way. The JEE Main exam will be conducted by NTA (National Test Agency) twice in a year for the admission in engineering colleges. Till 2018, the exam was conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education).

In 2019 examination majority of aspirants struggled in the physics section because of high complexity level with many application based questions. Whereas questions from mathematics were moderate level and chemistry section was easier. More than 9 lakh students appeared for the Main exam, the top 2,45,000 will be eligible for JEE Advanced.

It is very essential for JEE aspirant to make the concrete plan before proceeding towards the examination. “Prepare a chapter wise and topic wise revision schedule”. In this article ‘JEE Main 2020 Preparation Tips’ we will discuss preparation strategy in details.

JEE Main 2020 Preparation Tips

Time Management

The most important thing for JEE Main 2020 study plan is time management. You must divide the time for the subjects. Spend more time on those subjects which are your weaker area.

Develop your numerical abilities

To improve your problem-solving speed, you have to do the continuous practice. Drill yourself with regular numerical problem practice. By the time you go for the actual exam, you will have developed skills for recognizing the type of problem at once, just by looking at it.

Plan study hours wisely

To crack JEE Main Exam, many students study for long hours daily like 6 to 7 hours but unfortunately few of them are able to clear it. The main reason for this failure is the lack of quality study hours. While preparing for JEE Main, make sure that you are studying from relevant material which covers the entire syllabus.

Study Physics in a smarter way

For physics subject, make a short note, concentrate on formula, theorem and reaction. Also, when it comes to derivation in physics, try and understand the logic behind the derivation.

Be Familiar with topics of chemistry

When it comes to chemistry it is one of the subjects which you can study selectively and aim for the 100 marks because most of the concepts in Chemistry revolve around the bond formation, breaking and the periodic table.

Revise topics from mathematics on a regular basis

In mathematics, you should revise the applications of differential equations and geometry. This applies for properties of definite integrals and results of algebraic calculations of properties of conics. Another thing you must not forget to do it, be thorough with the topics under calculus and algebra. These topics are very important from the examination point of view.

Practice Mock Test

Once you are done with the syllabus, go through the Mock Test to get used to the pattern of exam. Before you start preparing for JEE Main 2020 set a completion target of 6 months. Now, why six months because from November 2019 you won’t get time for JEE Main preparation. You will be busier for the pre-boards exam.
