Neet 2019

It is an all India single entrance test for the admission to more than 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats across the country. Last year more than 13.4 lakh students have appeared for the NEET exam paper, in comparison to 11.4 lakh in 2017.

The first NEET happened in the year 2012, but due to several reasons the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and MCI (Medical Council of India) has discontinued it.

NEET Exam Paper 2019-Changes

  1. States like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana now comes 15% All India Quota scheme. The students from these states are no longer required to submit self declaration.
  2. Number of attempt has been removed. Now, you can attempt NEET exam until the age limit as per the category.
  3. If you wish to pursue MBBS/BDS from abroad then you must qualify for NEET Exam Paper 2019.
  4. All languages question paper will be available in one set.

5th May 2019(Sunday)

Timing and duration of the Exam

02:00 pm to 5:00 pm (3 hours)

Last Entry in the Examination hall

1: 30 pm

Sitting in the exam hall

1: 15 pm

Announcement of Important Instruction and Checking of Admit Card by the Invigilator

1:30 pm to 1: 45 pm

Distribution of Test Booklet

1:45 pm

Writing Information on Test Booklet

Test Commences

  1. The seat with a roll number will be allotted to the candidate.
  2. The Candidate has to be available in the examination hall by 1:30 pm.
  3. Following document must be brought on the day of examination: Print copy of Admit Card, one passport size photograph, ID proof (Pan card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhar Card).
  4. The candidates are not allowed to leave his/her seat until the test concludes.
  5. Things like Water bottle, Tea, coffee, Cold drinks or drinks are not allowed in the examination hall.
  6. In case candidates who are suffering from diabetes are allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets, fruits (banana, apple/orange) and transparent water bottle with prior intimation.

NEET Exam Paper 2019-Pattern

  1. The NEET Exam Paper 2019 will be conducted in offline mode.
  2. There will 180 questions and the questions are of MCQ (multiple choice questions).
  3. Duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  4. For every correct answer, you will be awarded 4 marks.
  5. Whereas for incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.
